Hand Me Down Dog Rescue is here to help you find the right fit for your family. All of our dogs go to their new homes spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, de-wormed, flea treated. Sometimes we get really young puppies and do not feel safe spaying/neutering them and will have new owners sign a contract stating they will be responsible to get this done by a certain age, and will lower the adoption fee (-$50). Our rescue also does home visits as part of our adoption process. This is simply to ensure that the adoption is going to be successful. We may request photo's/video's of your home, and it is recommended to send them along with your application. Pick up arrangement's will be adopters responsibility. We do allow a 14 day trial period, but adoption fee will be considered a donation towards the care of other animals in the rescue if dog is returned. Pet's are a lifetime commitment and we do our best to place them in the best fitting home's possible. It may take 3-5 days for us to review your application, and a submitted application does not guarantee approval for adoption.
Adoption Fees:
Dogs & Puppies - $250
Senior Dog's- $150
Adoption fee's may vary depending on dog's condition/medical needs upon arrival
